Girls Growing Up

Time goes by so fast and I see it's been almost a year since I have written.  So much has happened since I last wrote and I'll have to pass on that and pick up on the here and now.  The Grandchildren are growing so fast and three of them are now in middle and high school.  Savannah and Taylor are cheerleaders and both were on the homecoming court last week. Taylor represented the 6th grade and Savannah represented the 8th.  They were so pretty that night at the game.

Christmas is a good time of year

Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of Christ and remember why He came to earth as a baby and lived on earth and paid a price for us so that we would live with him forever in Heaven. It is a time for family and giving of ourselves to each other. This year our whole family was together with goodies galore. We had our four boys, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren and lots of cookies, candy, pies and fudge. This was the year for pictures as we had another family portrait made since it had been about 4 years since the last one. Everyone did their best to keep their cool until the very end and for that I am grateful. In the near future everyone will be grateful we had it done and will forget the gnats, the sun in our faces and the anxious children ready to quit after every picture.
